There is a new business in Champaign where you pay to book a session of smashing a bunch of breakable items with a baseball bat, sledgehammer, or golf club.
Really.
This might be the best business idea ever, particularly for this moment in hellish time that we are living in.
An individual session is $25, a two person session is $45. They provide the breakables (glass items, ceramics, keyboards…you can also add on larger items like tv or computer monitors), protective gear, a tutorial on smashing things safely, and the smashing implement. They even have smashing playlists for you to choose from.
If you are a member of the military, a first responder, a teacher, or a student, just show your ID and they will give you extra items to smash.
