The Illini Solar Car team will be competing in the annual American Solar Challenge from July 1st to 16th. The race begins in Independence, Missouri and ends in Twin Falls, Idaho. After placing 4th last year, they are hoping to improve on their performance in this year’s competition.
The team is hosting a send off event at Siebel Center for Design on Saturday, June 25th, at 2 p.m. There will be speeches from race team members, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions. You can also watch the send off on live stream from the Illini Solar Car website.
