Big Daddy Pride in Risk it For the Biscuit

Big Daddy Pride and the East Side Five have released a captivating new music video for their song “Risk It for the Biscuit.” The video (also available below), inspired by Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” features Big Daddy Pride playing his legendary Fender Rhodes keyboard while being driven around Urbana on a flatbed trailer. This creative homage, conceptualized by Brad Olson, combines urban scenery with Pride’s soulful tune, offering a unique visual and auditory experience.

To celebrate their album The Never Was, Big Daddy Pride and the East Side Five will host an album release show on Saturday, June 22nd at Rose Bowl Tavern. The event will feature performances by Vestiges and Yard Eagle. The evening promises to also be a feast for the senses with a light show under the tent by Matt Harsh and live painting by talented local artists Kinsey Fitzgerald and Janelle Jorgensen. Don’t miss this unique blend of music, art, and community spirit.
