Write for Arts at Smile Politely

Whether it’s visual or performance art, literature or film, C-U has always nurtured a vibrant arts community, and this is your opportunity to be a part of it. You can see shows before they debut, talk to local artists and learn about their work, dive into literature and poetry, and more!

We’re looking for some writers for this particular section. It’s helpful to have at least a mild grasp what’s happening locally, and preferably a grasp on art as a whole as well, as well as the ability to express your thoughts in writing. Mostly, we’re looking for people who are enthusiastic about the arts in our community. Whether your interest lies with visual arts, live performance, or literature, we’d love to add your voice to the mix.

You can contribute as much as your schedule allows.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, or if you have questions, send us an email at [email protected].
