We’re closing out the end of June and the end of Pride month (though we get to celebrate again in September). The July 4th holiday next week — and the blistering hot temps we’ve been enduring — have confirmed that summer is here. There is plenty of time to enjoy all that Central Illinois has to offer.
Speaking of enjoying the summer: We will be taking our annual summer publishing break next week, so our editors can rest and regroup for the second half of the year. Smile Politely will resume normal publishing on Monday, July 8th. In the meantime, you can sift through the archives of each section, though we know you really just want food and drink recs.
