Record Store Day returns on Saturday

Add Record Store Day to the list of events coming back to C-U as our COVID situation improves.

This year it will be held on two Saturdays this summer, June 12th and July 17th from 12 to 6 p.m.

Exile on Main Street plans to have live music outside; you can find the band lineup here. From the event page:

Live music will run from noon-6pm and is completely free, though we hope that you’ll bring some cash to buy a t-shirt or album from the bands that you like. (Set times soon!)

Inside the shop we’ll have the first wave of items from this year’s official Record Store Day event. (It is being split into two dates due to the pandemic. On 7/17 we’ll have a -second- event!) We had to drop some serious coin to bring in the releases, as always, and we’re kinda screwed if people don’t pick them up, so check out the posts on the Exile FB/Insta to see what they decided to allow us to stock and maybe you’ll find something to cherish!

We aren’t doing food trucks or anything. Not ready for the full-bore RSD yet. But we hope that you’re ready to toe the water with us. We’re super excited for you to bring a lawn chair and watch some live music!!!

Be sure to check out See You CD + Vinyl and Record Swap’s plans as well.
