Earlier this year, the City of Urbana launched Imagine Urbana, a multi-layered project to develop their new comprehensive plan. Right now, they are in the community engagement phase — soliciting feedback through the website from those that live, work, and seek entertainment in Urbana.
Now, they are inviting you to play a little Urbana bingo. Pick up a card in the lobby of the City building at 400 S Vine, or download a copy here, and do a scavenger hunt of sorts throughout the city. As you visit iconic Urbana sites such as Meadowbrook Park, Busey Woods, and Lincoln Square Mall, you’ll be prompted to do a fun activity there and take photos. If you post them to social media, use the hashtag #imagineurbana.
Once you complete your card (five activities in a row), take a photo of it and send it — along with any photos you’d like to share, to [email protected]. At the end of September there will be a drawing for gift certificates to Rick’s Bakery.
