Plant Mode, the plant store operated by J. Matthis Helmick that has existed in various forms throughout the years, will be moving into the space previously occupied by Rumours Hat Shoppe (FYI, Rumours is now Happy Jack Hat Co. in Urbana) at 75 Chester in Champaign. The plant store has been residing in the loft space at Furniture Lounge on University Avenue and Neil Street-ish, and online of course.
Plant Mode made this announcement on their Instagram account, and while there’s no word on when the new shop will be open, I’d just look to their social media accounts for the most up to date info.
