Li’l Porgy’s BBQ‘s Urbana location — 101 W. University Avenue — will soon be closing, as this sign mentions outside of their location. The Urbana location has been open for over 40 years.
The good news is that Porgy’s Champaign location will remain open, which is at 1917 W. Springfield.
Porgy’s sauce made a solid run in our C-U Food + Drink Tournament earlier this year, and we featured it in our Best Bites of 2017 column as well.
