Youth age 11 to 19 are invited to participate in Liberation Fest, a two day event organized by members of the graduate-level Liberation Psychology class at the University of Illinois community organizations including DREAAM House, Uniting Pride and Bethel AME Champaign.
On Friday, May 7th from 6 to 9 p.m. there will be Zoom party with a DJ and other entertainment. On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be discussions, workshops, and art activities.
There is a limit of 50 participants, you can register here. All participants will receive a swag bag with a $30 Grub-Hub gift card, a Liberation Fest t-shirt, art supplies, a book, and other goodies.
