La Bahía Grill Restaurant is opening in Sushi Kame’s old space on Church Street

Coming soon signs are in the front window of La Bahía Grill, a new restaurant in Downtown Champaign. The new restaurant will occupy Sushi Kame’s former space on Church Street.

On brick painted white, there is a window with photos of food taped to the inside with a sign reading: La Bahia Grill Now Hiring. Photo by Alyssa Buckley.Photo by Alyssa Buckley.

Neither hours of operation nor menu for the new restaurant have been added to La Bahía Grill’s website yet.

There were a few photos posted on the windows of the restaurant. I snapped a few pictures, but please excuse the poor quality of a photograph of a photo behind glass.

It looks like a great new seafood option for Champaign — hopefully opening soon.
