Illinois Country, the Illinois Public Media documentary that came out earlier this year, has been awarded two Mid-America Emmys: for Documentary – Cultural and for Musical Composition/Arrangement for its original song “Backroads”.
In case you were wondering what a Mid-America Emmy is, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has regional award divisions and this is one of them.
