Black Friday — if you partake in shopping — can be an incredibly stressful and chaotic event. If you decide to venture out into the madness of the “holiday,” it’s important to remember to shop small as well.
Record Store Day is a common event usually held in the springtime at local record stores. Did you know that many independent record stores also partake in Black Friday and offer exclusive releases during the event?
Champaign-Urbana has no shortage of record stores worth checking out. Even if you can’t find an exclusive release that tickles your fancy on Black Friday, you’ll no doubt be able to find something else at the store, either for you or as a gift for someone else.
