Local DJ Janaea Modest — aka DJ Silkee — will be hosting SheSpins, a free summer camp over the weekend of August 9-12. The camp will aim to teach young girls ages 10-17 about the basics of being a DJ as well as the history behind the artform.
While registration is already full, similar camps in the future are not out of the picture.
