Larry Gates II — aka Curb Service — just released a new track titled “Victory Girl” along with an accompanying video. The driving, hard hitting track is inspired by Gates’ grandfather:
This was inspired by my grandfather who was a belly gunner in WW2. The soldiers often kept pictures of their lovers in hopes to return to them one day. They called them victory girls.
