Cobrafest 2024 will take over Loose Cobra in Tolono on Saturday, July 6th, starting at 4 p.m. Prepare for a scorching lineup, headlined by FACS, who are back with their original member. This Chicago-based trio delivers an intense, minimalist noise-rock experience that’s sure to captivate. Champaign-Urbana’s own Menthol also takes the stage, blending sharp lyrics with the region’s signature guitar fuzz for a sound that’s both catchy and biting.
The lineup doesn’t stop there. Terminus Victor steps in for Sweet Cobra, bringing their heavy, high-energy performance that defies the limits of a three-piece band. Castor will treat fans to their intricate indie/emo melodies, rich with complex time changes. Closing out the night, Centaur, led by King Cobra himself, Matt Talbott, promises a soulful, mature sound with a touch of nostalgia, perfect for fans of Talbott’s work with Hum.
