Celebrate the Summer Solstice with music at The Space

This is a photo of a person sitting on a grassy bank near a body of water. The person is wearing a brown sweater with a white design of a mushroom on the back. The sweater also has text on it that reads “growing with the flow”. The person has dreadlocks and is facing away from the camera. The bank is covered in rocks and fallen leaves. The water is calm and there are ducks visible in the background.

ZENtheRapper‘s Summer Solstice Show returns for its second year on June 21st, celebrating the start of summer with a night of Hip-Hop at its finest. Hosted, curated, and headlined by ZENtheRapper, this event promises an evening of creativity and unity. This year’s lineup features Sherrod Woods, a hometown talent now based in Indiana; Femi Ishola, a skilled lyricist from the University of Illinois Hip-Hop Collective; and Twick G, a Hip-Hop OG from the Push Soul Collective. Last year’s inaugural show marked The Space’s first-ever Hip-Hop event, and this year’s promises to be even more electrifying.

Originally created to commemorate ZENtheRapper’s album “Sun God,” released on June 21st, 2022, the Summer Solstice Show is a celebration of artistic expression and meaningful messages. With performances running from 9 p.m. to midnight and tickets available at the door for $10, this event is an invitation to kick off your summer with creativity and inspiration. Don’t miss out on a night of stellar performances and community spirit.
