On March 29th, from 12 to 6 p.m., C-U Public Health District, at 201 W. Kenyon, is hosting a Maternal and Child Health open house. It’s open to all, and attendees can learn about all of the services that this department of CUPHD offers: WIC, family case management, breastfeeding support, donor breastmilk services, GREAT Start, food and nutrition, HealthWorks, and vaccination info. Staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
You can also find out more about the Breast Milk Depot, where you can donate breastmilk to the Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes for use in hospitals for premature and medically fragile babies.
