Drew Cagle and the Reputation

Drew Cagle and the Reputation is throwing a Halloween Bash, as well as celebrating one year of their album Haunted. The group will be joined by Ty from The Unemployed Architects. 

The Urbana Hootenanny

Every Monday at the Rose Bowl, come hang out with some great musicians. A sort of open mic meets song share, you can expect a variety of music and performers.

TUESDAY, November 1st

SSG

Rose Bowl Tavern // free // 5 p.m.

Featuring Chip Stephens on piano, Joel Spencer on drums, and Larry Gray on bass, this jazz trio will keep you entertained all night long.

WEDNESDAY, November 2nd

Chip McNeil Quartet

Saxophonist Chip McNeil returns to bang out the tunes with his jazz quartet.

Holly and Charlie (of The Merry Travelers)

Holly and Charlie of the wonderful psych-folk group The Merry Travlers are playing Rose Bowl’s americana happy hour.

FRIDAY, November 4th

Jordan Kaye The Tunewrangler

Bringing you songs, stories, and witty banter, Jordan Kaye is sure to be a night of fun. With a mix of rock, folk, and requests, come hangout at the Rose Bowl.

Singer-songwriter and actor Bonnie “Prince” Billy is performing his beautiful and heartfelt songs at Channing Murray. Joining him is ambient musician Sam Wagster.

Dan Hubbard

Americana singer-songwriter Dan Hubbard returns to Rose Bowl and performs his originals with his powerful and resonating voice.

SATURDAY, November 5th

People Music

Rose Bowl Tavern // free // 2 p.m.

Dueling keyboards backed by drum and bass, come hear some jazz/funk fusion from People Music. 

Solo & Quartet

The Rec Club // $10 // 7 p.m.

Join The Rec Club for a night of music, titled “Solo & Quartet.” Yea Big, James Mauck, Briar Darling, and Edward Breitweise will all perform solo sets before coming together as a quartet to close out the night.

Highly influencial composer and vocalist Meredith Monk is performing at Krannert with help from Central Illinois Youth Chorus. 

The Claudettes, Big Daddy Pride

Rockabilly, punk, blues, and roots come together to make up the sound of The Claudettes. Featuring an impressive lineup of musicians, the group is on their album release tour. Tonight they are supported by Big Daddy Pride.

Kali Masi, Sam Russo, Tightwire, Snack’d Out

Brass Rail // $12 // 8 p.m.

Chicago punks Kali Masi are coming through town, with support from Sam Russo from the UK, Tightwire doing an acoustic set, and local emo group Snack’d Out.

Speedy Ortiz, Motes

Loose Cobra // $17 // 8 p.m.

Indie rockers Speedy Ortiz are hitting Loose Cobra, joined by local rock outfit Motes.

The influencial indie rock band Bright Eyes is performing in Bloomington this Sunday, with support from Hurray for the Riff Raff.
