Celebrating its 20th year, the multi-faceted cultural event PYGMALION has unveiled its complete 2024 lineup. This year’s festival, which promises a blend of music, comedy, and more, kicks off with a highly anticipated performance by Australian duo Royel Otis at the Canopy Club on September 19th. The duo, who gained fame for their viral covers of “Murder on the Dancefloor” and “Linger,” recently released their debut album, Pratts & Pain and are currently blowing up in the pop scene.

A man with short blond hair and glasses is sitting on a dark blue couch. He is wearing a light blue button-up shirt and brown pants, with a watch on his left wrist. Behind him on the wall, there is a framed painting of a woman in a white headscarf holding a fruit and a poster for the video game "Doom Eternal" featuring a muscular character with weapons.
Joe Pera

On September 21st, the one-of-a-kind stand-up comedian Joe Pera will take the stage at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. Known for his very funny Adult Swim series Joe Pera Talks With You, which has been described as “TV’s quietest, most artful comedy” by The LA Times, Pera’s performance is set to be one of the highlights of the festival.

PYGMALION’s diverse lineup also includes the bold and outspoken rapper Cupcakke, the chart-topping pop outfit X Ambassadors, prolific drummer and composer Makaya McCraven, influential guitarist Bob Mould, and alt-rock band Militarie Gun. Other notable acts include Friko, Queen Key, and Six Organs of Admittance, ensuring a broad array of sounds and styles to engage festival-goers.
