We tried Watson’s minty green slushie

Did you see Watson’s new, seasonal alcoholic slushie? It’s called Cindy Lou’s Booze, and it’s a white chocolate peppermint concoction made with peppermint vodka and creme de menthe ($9). It’s topped with whipped cream and a mini candy cane. Yesterday, Culture section editor Julie McClure and I decided to do the hard research to see how it measured up.

It was delicious. It was sweet and minty, and most certainly a dessert beverage. (I can’t endorse drinking it alongside savory items, except maybe for some potato wedges). Get it at the end of your meal, or meet up for a drink before or after dinner.
