Corny has been working all night and all day to organize the Sweetcorn Festival in Downtown Urbana on August 28-29. The event calls for a ton of volunteers, and he’d love to have you help out.
There are lots of way to be involved during the festival: you can cook the corn, serve beer (21+), manage vendor check-in, and much more. Shifts are short, and you choose when you work. Plus, there are added perks: you get a festival T-shirt, food and drinks, and (the greatest thing ever) a free ear of corn.
Groups that provide four or more volunteers can get their organization’s logo on the back of the volunteer shirt — a great promo opportunity, since this is CU’s largest annual community event. Plus,
