Urbana School District #116 has announced they will also go remote through the first quarter of this upcoming fall semester, as per this report by ChambanaMoms. You can check out USD116’s plan here. Initially, the district had planned to do distance learning through only September 8th.
This news comes after last week’s announcement that Champaign Unit 4 Schools would go remote through the first semester to curb the spread of COVID-19. Read our Editorial Board article from last week which discusses this upcoming semester, and the challenges ahead.
