The University of Illinois has signed on with “peer institutions in the filing of amicus briefs in support of the F-1 visa suit filed by Harvard and MIT.” The lawsuit challenges the Trump Administration’s requirement for international students to be enrolled in in-person classes at universities or face deportation.
The U of I has also collaborated with Attorney General Kwame Raoul to prevent the implementation of the new rule. Read the litigation here.
