According to Illinois Public Media, two current U of I administrators, Chancellor Phyllis Wise and Trustee Ed McMillan, have been tapped for governor-elect Bruce Rauner’s transition team. Rauner has reached out to a total of three higher ed administrators; the third is Glenn Poshard, a former Congressman and newly retired president of Southern Illinois University. The team will advise Rauner on issues that persistently affect higher education in Illinois.
