If you’re already heading over to the Market at the Square on Saturday mornings, it’s worth it to swing by Common Ground as well. This summer, they’ve been offering pay-what-you-can bike tune ups with Bike FAB. With school starting back up, it’s a great time to make sure your bike is in tip-top shape. There are two sessions left: this Saturday, August 17th and August 31st. Stop by anytime between 8 a.m. and noon.
You can also bring your knives in for sharpening between 9 and 11 a.m. this Saturday, and on several Saturdays through December. This is one of things I don’t really ever think about doing, and there’s no doubt my kitchen knives are not functioning at their optimum capability.
