I order the country fried chicken salad (field greens with cucumbers, tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, red onions, cherrywood smoked bacon, hard-boiled eggs, cheddar cheese, country fried chicken, served with a honey mustard dressing on the side) but I make the following changes:
- No portobello mushrooms
- No bacon
- Sub honey-poblano salsa vinaigrette dressing
I don't particularly care for mushrooms; I certainly will not go out of my way to eat them. Bacon in a salad is also not a favorite. The key to making this the best salad is the addition of the honey-poblano salsa vinaigrette dressing. It's the dressing that comes with the summer salmon salad and it's among my all time favorite dressings. It's absolutely perfect on the country fried chicken salad. Try it next time you visit Seven Saints.
