There are now two free testing sites open to U of I students, staff, and faculty

University of Illinois has opened two free testing sites for students, faculty, and staff. The sites are walk up, and will be utilizing the saliva test created by U of I researchers. Those wanting to be tested need to show an I-card or Illini idea and should refrain from eating, drinking, tooth brushing, mouth washing, gum chewing, and tobacco use for 30 minutes before taking the test. Results are expected within about 5 hours, but they could take up to 24 hours. Here is the site info:

ALICE CAMPBELL ALUMNI CENTER

601 Lincoln Avenue, Urbana

The testing tent is located just north of the building along Lincoln Avenue.
Please note that inclement weather (extreme heat, lighting, etc.) may force the university to temporarily close all outdoor COVID-19 tent testing sites.
Parking is available in Lot D22, south of the building

STATE FARM CENTER

10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday
1800 S. First Street, Champaign
