Each Wednesday during the semester, The Red Herring hosts a vegan fusion dinner — the cuisine is inspired by a specific place or region, and plates are $9. Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9th (5-8 p.m.) is the last one of the semester and Greek food is on the menu.
Here's what will be on your plate:
Eggplant Moussaka:: OG lentil, eggplant and mashed potato
Greek Salad:: cucumber, green pepper, red onion, tomato, vegan tofu feta cheese & black olive
Revithosoupa:: Chickpea Soup with carrots and celery
Appetizers and dessert are extra. Tomorrow's appetizer is a spicy sweet roasted red pepper hummus with house-made pita chips.
