The City of Champaign has partnered up with the Champaign Park District to offer their annual neighborhood block parties throughout the summer. They are family friendly events that will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., with lots of activities for kids, as well as a DJ and live performances. Here are the details from the park district website:
We are bringing the party to your neighborhood! Join us at the neighborhoods listed below for Block Party fun! Inflatables, face painting, lawn games, live performances including CUperStars, interactive music by DJ Fireproof, and many more activities will be available for all to enjoy, so mark these dates!
Dates:
June 21st: Human Kinetics Park
July 26th: Johnston Park
August 7th: Beardsley Park (this is also National Night Out)
