Suburban Express, the shuttle/bus company owned and operated by Dennis Toeppen, will soon close as per this report in The News-Gazette. After a long running legal battle surrounding Toeppen’s antics — which you can read more about here and here — the company is ceasing operation and will disolve “no later than July 31”. All of Toeppen’s horrendous behavior towards bus patrons and his interaction with them online ultimately helped lead to the the recent spout with the Illinois Attourney General.
