Now that the City of Urbana has allowed the use of some parking areas for bars and restaurants to provide outdoor seating, Rose Bowl Tavern has taken over a portion of the lot just north of their establishment to give you a place to have a drink, and feel safe doing it.
They’ve obviously taken great care to place distance between tables, and they are putting hand sanitizer on each one. You will also need to wear a mask when you aren’t seated.
You are welcome to bring takeout to enjoy while you are drinking your beverages. They are not opening inside at this time. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with live music announcements and any other changes to hours and such.
