If you weren’t aware, Nando Milano originated in Chicago, before owner Dario Vullo and his brother Alessio, executive chef, opened a second location here in Champaign. Now the Chicago location is set to be featured on Chicago’s Best, a show on WGN-TV that sets out to find the best eating in a vast sea of restaurants in Chicago and vicinity. The show will be filming at the end of August for Best Italian episode, to air September 30th at 10 p.m. on WGN.
The show will feature Chicken Parmesan — something I’ve never had there — but if it’s like the other entrees I’ve indulged in (Gnocchi Della Nonna I’m looking at you) I’m sure it’s place in the Chicago’s Best ranks is legit.
