As per the Gazoo, there’s a medical marijuana referral clinic opening in April in Savoy. Medical Cannabis Outreach will be located at 1801 Woodfield Drive, and serve as a place where a physician will be able to determine whether or not you’re qualified for a medical card.
Right now, there are a couple of dispensaries that exist in C-U: NuMed in Urbana, and Phoenix Botanicals in Champaign. In order to access those dispensaries, you have to have a medical marijuana card, so essentially, this referral clinic is a path to acquiring a card to be able to buy legal weed in Champaign-Urbana.
