Once again the Illini Union is hosting its Summer Quad Cinema Series, and it starts this week. They will have a free movie every Thursday from May 16th to August 24th (no movie on July 4th), and they range from family friendly (How to Train Your Dragon 3) to leave the young ‘uns at home so you don’t traumatize them (Us).
All films begin at 9 p.m., and you can stop by the Quad Shop for some popcorn — it’s just $3 for a large and $1.50 for a small, refills $1.50/$1. Heckuva deal.
If the weather is not conducive to outdoor movie watching, then the event will be moved to the Pine Lounge in the Union.
