“I Am Not A Quota” bake sale is today on the Main Quad

Are you a fan of social justice… and brownies? Crescendo, a group of University of Illinois students that support underrepresented students in the School of Music and Arts, is hosting an “I Am Not a Quota” bake sale Tuesday, March 14th on the Main Quad from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The sale is co-sponsored by the University YMCA. Their goal is to spread a message of inclusion and equity. Prices range from 25 cents to $1, and the funds will support Crescendo’s goal of financially supporting music and arts students who may struggle with additional costs of materials, instrument upkeep, and other fees. Menu includes brownies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, pie, and more.

This event comes after the Illini Republicans’ “Affirmative Action” bake sale was announced.
