Here are two chances to learn more about the Pandemic as Portal to Change project

Last month, the organizers of Pandemics as of a Portal to Change announced an open call for artist submissions. As the project continues, teen and adult artists will each have an opportunity to learn more about the project. A virtual workshop geared towards teens will be held on April 6th at 4:30 p.m. Learn more or register here.

At 5:30 p.m. on April 8th, a panel of local artists will help us “explore art as a tool for social change.” Panelists will include Ashanti Files, City of Urbana Poet Laureate, Liza Sylvestre, KAM Curator of Academic Programs/Multimedia Artists, Keenan Daily, Graphic Designer/Multimedia Artist, and elizaBeth Simpson, Cooperative Conflict/Performing Artist.
