Habitat for Humanity hosting Interfaith Dedications this Sunday

One of the most important aspects of Habitat for Humanity‘s work in C-U is their interfaith builds, which connect good-doers of all religions to help make our community stronger.

This coming Sunday, Habitat will be dedicating not one, but two homes in Urbana at 3 and 3:30 respectively. People of all faith (or no faith) are encouraged to stop by, and see the tangible good that Habitat is doing in Champaign-Urbana. Kona Ice snow cones will also be available, with 25% of sales going towards

  • 1212 Hill Urbana- Nicole Blackwell-Parker family 3:00
  • 1203 Beslin Urbana- LaKendra O’Bannon family 3:30

All Interfaith groups participating in the project are encouraged to attend a short ceremony and house blessing at each home

Refreshments available from Kona Ice following both dedications
