CU Fab Lab is celebrating 10 years, and will have several events to celebrate throughout the year.
This month they are doing a Binge-able Cosplay Halloween Showcase, virtually, that is free and open to all ages. Here is the important info, from their website:
Reconstruct a scene from your favorite movie, show, or game for a chance to win awards and show off your creative genius.
Your recreation will be posted on CUC Fab Labs Facebook page and judged by your fun-loving and ingenious peers.
The showcase works like this:
Pick a scene from media you binged during the pandemic
Recreate the scene with items (and people and pets) in your home
Upload an image of your inspiration scene and your recreated scene here.There are a few rules:
Remember that this extremely fun activity is not a reason to break social distancing. If you want to submit a group photo, please work responsibly.
Make sure your awesome submission is appropriate for an audience of all ages.
Please do not use any real weaponry in the making of your recreation (safety first!).
The submission deadline is October 22nd. The showcase will be online October 26-31 and judging will be from October 27-31. Awards will be announced November 1st.
