It's school open house season, where parents and family members typically get their first glimpse at what's happening at their kids' schools, meet the teachers, etc. On Thursday, September 12th, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Franklin STEAM Academy is turning their open house into a big community block party.

They will be closing off Harris Street, in front of the school, and will have food trucks, activities, prizes, booths, a DJ, and more. The event is open not just to students and families, but to anyone in the community who would like to join in the fun and/or see what's happening at Franklin.
