When stopping by for my Wed $2 latte, I noticed the specials board had some fun & nerdy listings:
- Butterbeer Polar Cap
- Bloody Dragon
- Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster
Being a nerd (and frequenter of ERC), I could intuit the ingredients of the first two. Although I had my doubts that without alcohol the PGGB could live up to the promise of “having your brains smashed in by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick,” once I got the lowdown from its inventor, I was convinced. She also assures me it is delicious to boot.
I love when baristas take the time to share their creations with the public, even moreso in a fun way. And it’s good to know that the hoopy froods at ERC Neil St. really know where their towel is.
