According to the News-Gazette, Downtown Champaign is getting a new Indian restaurant, Kohinoor Indian Restaurant, in the space formerly occupied by Escobar’s.
The folks behind Downtown Urbana’s Sitara are opening the new Champaign eatery. The Ghimire family hopes to open the Champaign space by December. If the deliciousness that comes out of Sitara is any indication of how good it will be, Champaign is in for a treat.
