Community open house for new director of Rape Crisis Center

Rape Advocacy, Counseling, and Education Services (RACES) is welcoming its new director with a community open house on Tuesday, August 4 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

RACES offer a variety of services to victims/survivors of sexual assault, abuse, and harassment and their non-offending significant others who live or work in Champaign, Douglas, Ford, and Piatt counties in East-Central Illinois. All services are free and confidential. Community members do not have to report to the police to receive assistance and can get help even if violence occurred years ago. The open house provides an opportunity for the community and allied professionals to meet staff and learn more about the programs and services offered by RACES.

The open house will take place inside the Lincoln Square Conference Center (near Charter Fitness).
