JSM Development is pleased to announce the execution of a lease with Ragstock to be located at 627 S. Wright St, formally Follett’s Bookstore, in Champaign. Ragstock will be located in the basement of the property and will occupy over 6,300 square feet.
Headquarted in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ragstock is a unique chain of clothing stores with 25 locations throughout the Midwest with similar Campustown locations in Ann Arbor, Madison, and Iowa City. Offering new and used clothing at affordable prices, Ragstock carries a wide selection of fashion forward items for both men and women. Ragstock carries such items as vintage 1980’s sweaters, cowboy boots, Japanese baseball jerseys and much more.
“We have been looking for a location for a Ragstock store in Champaign for the last five years,” stated Mike Finn, President of Ragstock. “We’re excited and anxious to open another Ragstock store and we hope all will come visit our store for great trendy and basic clothing for men and woman at affordable prices.”
“JSM has been focused on diversifying the retail base in Campustown,” stated Jill Guth, JSM’s director of commercial leasing and marketing. “Ragstock is another step in that direction. Campustown needs more clothing retailers and Ragstock is a great company and addition to Campustown. JSM has been working for nearly two years to find the right spot for Ragstock. They like quirky spaces and the basement of 627 Wright is perfect for their needs.”
