The City of Urbana and Urbana Champaign Independent Media Center will announce their new partnership for a youth arts intiative on May 10 at 7:30 p.m.

URBANA – A news conference will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10th at the Urbana Champaign Independent Media Center (UCIMC), 202 S. Broadway Avenue in Urbana, to announce a new partnership between the City of Urbana and UCIMC. The City of Urbana and UCIMC have been working since August 2015 to develop and resource a partnership to engage youth in envisioning possible futures for downtown Urbana. The announcement will detail this exciting new program and funding secured to make it a reality.
The news conference will be a part of a larger event that will include a performance by a local artist.
