Grilling season is just about here, if the rain ever lets up, and one of my favorite places to grab grilling meat is at the U of I's Meat Science Lab. No, it's not some weird experimental thing — it's just a butcher shop with a quirky name. 

Options change some, but you'll find chicken, beef, and pork, plus house made sausages and brats and bacon. You might also be able to find eggs and jerky, though in my experience they tend to sell out quickly.
