The Urbana Free Library is presenting (through Facebook) the music and poetry of Pete Shungu on Sunday, January 17th at 4 p.m.
Shungu is “a trumpet player, hip hop MC, spoken word poet and educator who strives to use poetry and music as a vehicle to educate, build community and create positive social change.”
The show is 30 minutes, and appropriate for high school students and adults, per the Facebook event page.
