Broad Comedy is a group with a mission “To diversify the Champaign-Urbana comedy community by creating an inclusive and encouraging environment for new comics, especially women, non-binary, and queer performers.” Next Tuesday, September 12, is the first of four open mic comedy nights that will take place at Bar M from 7-8:30 p.m. Interested in viewing or even performing? Our first show will blend an open mic with a short showcase featuring longer sets by Lisa Graff, Stephanie Brown, and our former host Alexandria Hawkey! And we’ll be hosted by famed Champaign lad-about-town Andrew Schiver!
As usual, performers are encouraged to sign up for five-minute spots ahead of time using this form:
