There’s a new-ish pizza joint that’s located on Green Street (505 E. Green) called Azzip Pizza — serving up personal pies in just a few minutes each. Fellow Editor Boswell Hutson and I stopped by there earlier today to find out they’re serving up 1/2 priced pizzas all week and into the weekend.
We went traditional and not-so-much — one pepperoni, sausage and mushroom, another pesto, spinach, chicken, mushroom — both solid. All told, these two pizzas cost $8 total under this current promotion (they were a little under $4 each). If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and you’re in Campustown, this is worth a try to see for yourself.
Azzip Pizza’s hours are Monday- Wednesday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Thursday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-12 a.m., and Sunday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
