AudioFeed Music Festival announces 2014 lineup

AudioFeed Music Festival is back again this year — after the inaugural event last summer — happening on July 2-6 at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. Check out the lineup below, as well as information from the press release.

Here’s the info from the press release:

The second annual AudioFeed Music Festival, a Christian music event featuring over 75 bands and a variety of speakers, will be held at the Champaign County Fairgrounds July 2-6, 2014.

Growing from the roots of the Cornerstone Music Festival which drew over 25,000 in attendance in its heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, AudioFeed is a music festival with a focus on independent and “edgy” Christian music and culture. The artists will represent a variety of musical genres on three stages: acoustic singer/songwriter, indie rock with blues/jazz/folk influences, and metal/punk. Artists were chosen based on artistry, creativity, and commitment rather than a fit into a mainstream niche.

Some of the pioneers in Christian rock, such as Glenn Kaiser, Mike Roe, Steve Taylor, Flatfoot 56, and The 77’s, will perform alongside well-known current artists, Peter Furler (formerly of the Newsboys) and Rhett Walker Band. Cutting edge artists including Listener, ’68, War of Ages, My Epic, and The Overseer. Speakers will include nationally acclaimed authors Shane Claiborne and Dr. Preston Sprinkle.

Full event tickets as well as day passes are available at http://audiofeedfestival.com/ and at the gate. Tent camping sites are included in the cost of admission. The community feeling of past Cornerstone festivals is a powerful part of the AudioFeed experience. Camping, seminars, art, and other activities at the festival are as much a part of the week as the music. Food and a wide variety of merchandise will also be available from vendors at the festival. AudioFeed is an incredible event for the whole family to enjoy together.
